I don't seem to be able to get Spyce working. I'm running up-to-date
Gentoo Linux with Apache 2.0.48 and Python 2.3, and spyce is installed
under /usr/share/spyce. The spyce configuration has been added to the
end of Gentoo's almost unaltered default
/etc/apache2/conf/commonapache2.conf, and the paths have been set
correctly. When I try to view Spyce-generated pages, I get
You don't have permission to access
/spyce-cgi/run_spyceCGI.py/spyce/examples/hello.spy on this server.
Apache/2.0.48 (Gentoo/Linux) Server at crake.paivola.net Port 80
and my Apache error log gets a line such as
[Sun Mar 21 01:06:47 2004] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] client denied by
server configuration: /usr/share/spyce/run_spyceCGI.py
So it's obviously a configuration problem, but I've no idea what to look
for. Does somone have a clue?
