#2 treating tabs as spaces?

No

I'm writing my spyce scripts with vim, which is
automatically converting 8 spaces into a tab (with
autoindent turned on). This causes spyce to tell me
that I have a syntax error when I use Python chunks.
Could we make spyce smart enough to handle this?

Pro:

#1: it makes my life easier :)
#2: Python seems to handle it on it's own

Con:

#1: it makes things more complicated for spyce
#2: would we have to deal with different settings for
tab stops?
#3: I could go change my editor setup to not
translate, but that would conflict with Pro #1 :)

No, Python will fail to parse if you mix tabs and spaces in
your code at the same indentation level. Spyce is no
different than python in this respect. In other words, use
    a smarter editor. :)
