Hi All Version 0.07 of Sprog has just been uploaded to SourceForge. You can download it from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sprog/Sprog-0.07.tar.gz?download This release cleans up some of the user interface issues left over from the last release: * Dragging and dropping gears should now drop where you expect. * You can now show/hide the gear palette via the new 'View' menu, the toolbar or a hot key. * The toolbar buttons now have text labels but you can set the style you prefer via the view menu, or hide the toolbar altogether. The View menu selections are not persistent yet, but they will be eventually. Regards Grant |

Hi All Version 0.06 of Sprog has just been uploaded to SourceForge. You can download it from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sprog/Sprog-0.06.tar.gz?download This release introduces the gear 'palette' for browsing and selecting gears. You can now add gears to your machine by dragging them from the palette and dropping them onto the Sprog workspace (although there are still some wrinkles to sort out with the drop coordinates). The palette view can be filtered by input and output connector types and also supports keyword searching. The screenshots page on the Sprog web site now includes a preview of the new palette. There's also a shiny new 'about box' so you can find out what version you're running. One final new 'feature' is that I've set up a Debian apt repository, so Debian users can keep up with the release version automatically. I'm happy to host other package formats as long as someone else builds them. More details on the web site 'Installation' page. Regards Grant |

Hi again Hot on the heels of yesterday's release comes version 0.05. This one fixes some bugs in the save/restore functionality. Support for save/restore has also been added to a few more gear classes. You can download it from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sprog/Sprog-0.04.tar.gz?download Regards Grant |

Hi All I've just uploaded release 0.03 of Sprog. You can download it from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sprog/Sprog-0.03.tar.gz?download This release is functionally equivalent to release 0.02 of pstax - the old working title for the project. The tarball is now laid out in standard CPAN style so it can be installed with the familiar command sequence: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install The Sprog project now also has a web site and an official home on SourceForge: http://sprog.sourceforge.net/ Regards Grant McLean |
