That sounds like a great idea.  I'm a Debian user so I've sorted out a
Debian package and repository.  Gavin Brown helped me set up a process
for creating a generic RPM package on my Debian box, but I really need
someone knowledgeable about repositories for their distribution to act
as packaging maintainer.
