#7 gear annotation/comments

Being able to add a comment to a gear so I know what it
is without opening its properties would be helpful.
Maybe it would show up as a mouse-over tooltip, or a
small piece of text on or near the gear graphic.

My TODO list includes adding support for changing the title
on gears. Were you envisaging more lengthy annotations?

I wonder if it would be appropriate to be able to rename
gears, as well as provide a more lengthy description that
explains the details of what is going on.

However, it would be unfortunate if renaming a gear made it
hard to identify its base gear type (e.g., 'Perl Code').
