Hi everyone, Perhaps the one bit of spam not on this list. The Spring.NET team is preparing for a 1.3 RC1 release next week, scheduled for July 29th, followed by a 1.3 final ('RTM') release August 10th. This release will include the many bug fixes that have been fixed since 1.2.0 and will aim to fix all outstanding bugs as reported by our users on JIRA. The reason for this not being 1.2.1 but instead 1.3 RC1 is related to two new features, which while major in their own right, are largely derivative in terms of their implementation. These features are support for TIBCO EMS and Microsoft's testing framework. Since the APIs for these new features are stable, there is no need for a milestone release in our judgment. Some minor API changes will be made but we are expecting this release to be highly backward compatible. The API changes primarily deal with Spring internals rather than commonly used public APIs. Time permitting we will also add VS.NET project templates. Please contact us, preferably via JIRA or the forums, with suggestions of what you would like to see added for 1.3 and is reasonable to accomplish in such a short time frame. Cheers, Mark |
