Hi all,
I've been trying to learn how Spring works. I ran findbugs on the
source, and I came across something I didn't understand. I might be
missing something, so I wanted to ask to make sure.
In org.springframework.aop.aspectj, the class AspectJPointcutAdvisor
implements Serializable, but it doesn't provide a serialVersionID. Also,
the advice field is AbstractAspectJAdvice, of which no subclass
implements Serializable either.
This would only be a problem if someone wanted to serialize
AspectJPointcutAdvisor, but I can't see a reason why anybody would want
to. If they did, however, it wouldn't work.
Is this intentional (is there a use case I'm missing)?
Thanks for your help!
