I would recommend you get hold of one of the books about Spring like "Professional Java Development with the Spring Framework" ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0764574833/sr=3D8-1/qid=3D1144409256/ref= =3Dpd_bbs_1/103-1813701-5493413?%5Fencoding=3DUTF8) which is good and written by many of the authors of spring. I also really like "Pro Spring" ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1590594614/sr=3D8-3/qid=3D1144409256/ref= =3Dpd_bbs_3/103-1813701-5493413?%5Fencoding=3DUTF8) It's quite hands on and has great examples. Once you've got through that, I would also recommend looking at the samples provided with the framework itself. Good luck. It's a great framework. Section 12.2 (Hibernate) is probably of interest to you. Maybe "12.2.6. Programmatic transaction demarcation" or "12.2.7. Declarative transaction demarcation" are misleading section titles. :) -- Christopher G. Stach II |
