Dear Spring community, I am pleased to announce that Spring 2.0 M3 has just been released. Spring 2.0 M3 is the third milestone of the next generation of Spring: introducing a reworked validation framework, refined CommonJ support, JSP form tags, etc. It also contains fixes for various issues discovered since M2. Please see the changelog for details. Cheers, Juergen ----- Juergen Hoeller Interface21 Ltd http://www.springframework.com |

Awesome work Juergen. Is anyone on the Spring team in charge of creating a Maven 2 upload for ibiblio? If not, it'd be nice to appoint someone (possibly from the community) to do= it. Hi Alef Not sure if you saw this post, but Carlos Sanchez offered to assist with setting up Spring with Maven 2 (see http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.java.springframework.user/7552/match=maven). Carlos is a Maven committer, and has a solid track record of supporting/managing the Acegi Security Maven build. If there is interest in adopting Maven 2, you might like to take advantage of Carlos' offer to help. On a related topic, Spring Rich has recently adopted Maven 2 for its build system (being managed by Geoffrey De Smet), and Acegi Security will be moving to it (from Maven 1.0.2) after our 1.0.0 final release is out of the way. Best regards Ben |

Hi, I have a working maven 2 project for Spring that doesn't interfere with current ant buld. At least it worked with m1, now I'm having a hard time keeping it up to date for different problems I found (see my reported issues in jira). Last one is with asm 2 used in some parts conflicting with asm 1 included in cglib.
