It's incredibly strange. My laptop is set to Verbose, no compression,
and default timeout (60), and works (relatively) fine. On my desktop,
the compression had been reset back to none (instead of highest). I set
it back to highest, and am able to update again. The timeout value seems
to make no difference (just takes longer to actually time out). It would
seem that when using the desktop with no compression on, some data gets
lost, and then it eventually times out. This happens regardless of the
client. I would presume this doesn't happen with the laptop because the
connection through the wireless network has more latency.
In any case, I think this is an SF problem. I have no issue with other
repos...
