Hi everybody, A couple of thoughts on release 1.1.5: I've scheduled it for the first week of March, which I consider as a rather hard deadline. (We need to start preparing 1.2 RC1 right afterwards, in particular to get official Hibernate3 support out.) 1.1.5 is supposed to be the "definitive" release in the 1.1.x series, focused on bug fixing and doc completion. We already got a couple of reports on 1.1.4, and I expect more to come in the next weeks, which I intend to fix ASAP. Enhancements and minor new features can be included as long as they don't impose non-trivial changes on core classes. Therefore, refined JasperReports support is fine, as is JExcel support - those just affect web view classes. 1.1.4 shipped without the JasperReports demo. For 1.1.5, I'd like to make it part of the distribution. I'll review it for this purpose, and align it with the package and building structure of the other sample apps (if necessary). Have a look at the current issues scheduled for 1.1.5 in JIRA. About half of them are documentation issues, which should be pretty straightforward to address. Any help is appreciated :-) Regards, Juergen |
