[Springframework-developer] Bug in velocity macro

The springFormSingleSelect contain a bug.

    #springBind($path)
    <select name="${status.expression}" ${attributes}>
        #foreach($option in $options.keySet())
            <option value="${option}"
---->>            #if($status.value && $status.value == $option)
                selected="true"
            #end>
                ${options.get($option)}
            </option>
        #end
    </select>
#end

If  $status.value contains the string "false", the condition is never 
evaluated.
Note that checkbox variant of the macro does not check the variable 
existence itself.
