There is some nasty robot coming in about once an hour, and registering
a new user each time, whose website as listed in the user profile page
is actaully various porn sites. This is relying on the fact that even
for inactive users (the emails it uses are bogus), the profiles are
visible, and will be indexed by search engines. I just wasted a bunch of
time killing some of these fake accounts, but as I'm out of the country
and on dialup or worse until next week, can't solve this properly until
then. We need to put in place a mod which makes people type in a
randomly generated code, as well as another which tracks IPs on
registrations, so registrations from the same IPs can be found... Just
mentioning this as until then, these bogus users are going to probably
grow, and anybody browsing the memberlist will see them...
