Can one of you give me the url's to maven so I can check it out? I've heard of it but don't know more than that.

The results of the project file I put together can be viewed at

http://www.monkeymachine.ltd.uk/spring/maven-reports.html

They are a bit out of date and not entirely complete as I ran out of web 
space (reducing the size of the checkstyle report might help :-) but 
should give some indication of what Maven does. Note that this is all 
out-of-the-box stuff produced by a very simple project file.
