Hi.

Docs for @Qualifier here
http://static.springframework.org/spring/docs/2.1.x/reference/beans.html#beans-annotation-configonly
shows examples where the definition is made in xml, and the usage is
in
code using annotations.

Why isn't it possible to define @Qualifier on a bean defined with
@Component? Or is it just the docs that are not up2date?

This should work fine - it's just the docs which are not fully up to date
there, indeed.
