I've always felt it was most effective to only put properties that were 
likely to be changed for an individual's local environment. So 
something like the location of JBoss or JDBC information. Stuff like 
the location of the build directory probably won't change much and just 
clutters up the properties file. If you have one and only put things 
that are likely to change, it is much more obvious to a new user where 
to make mods.
