I have been investigating the Code related to the Spring and have foung that there is the Proxy Design and Chain Of Responsibility used in the framework .Dynamic Proxy from jdk1.3 have been used as I can see the JdkDynamicAopProxy.java calling the Proxy.newInstance.....
Referring to the AOP chapter in the Rods "J2EE without EJB " mentions Decorator , Observer and COR the patterns that can help in achieving the AOP . Most importantly he has skipped the Proxy , which I feel will always the basic concept .
I would like to know if my understanding is worng or you have missed some section in the book .
Any one else have an opinion about the same ?
