First, I would like to congratulate you for your work and for giving an alternative for printer drivers.
But, after having seen the announcement on LinuxFr, I decided to try these new drivers, but I have a problem. I followed what it is written in the INSTALL file (more particularly I desactivate the use of the library Libjbig, because I don't have it on my Debian Lenny).
I succeed in the installation in Cups, but when I tries to print the "Cups test page" I have an error, and the printer does nothing.
The error message is :
"SpliX Error while compressing the page. Check the previous message. Trying to print the other pages."
Can anybody help me and can give me the solution ?

Unfortunately clp300 needs jbig to compress the page. Compile it yourself and it will print!
