if you are using the latest version of cdrtools, and its included mkisofs, you should be using mkisofs -iso-level 3 to make files larger than 2GiB.
thought you should know.

learned this from the cdrtfe project, who compiles and uses cdrtools for windows to make a cdrtools front end (cdrtfe), a cd burging program.
and consequently, I use this in my batch files to automate creating all my ISOs.
