Currently a lot of standard library services are implemented by calling a routine written in C/C++ (e.g. "splimpl_getCurrentDirectory()", etc.) As SPL code can now call Win32 DLL functions directly, there's no need for the intermediate C/C++ layer, so get rid of it as much as possible.
