#1 How to use spi_register_board_info

For the Registration of spi_device structure using
the function spi_add_new_device should be called but
this function is not called as we don't have any
board information the Board info will be created
using the function SI_REGISTER_BOARD_INFO (KERNEL
2.6.17.1) but i couldn;t understand how to call this
function please anybody in the list help me out i
would be thankfull

And i couln't find any document for new Driver
architecture for kernel 2.6.17 like platform driver
how to write if any body have any document or any
link please post me
