Hi Sam, I have tried the SpeedyCGI with setuid scripts on solaris before I know that is not supported. The message I got was speedy_backend[9787]: /dev/fd/3: Bad file number speedy[9785]: Cannot spawn backend process According to this error msg and since solaris passes the /dev/fd/N instead of the path of the setuid script to the interpreter for security reason, I guess this may be one of the reasons why speedyCGI doesn't support setuid on solaris. Amd if this is the only reason, how about an option for speedy to specify the full pathname of the script itself, and this option can be passed to speedy_backend by speedy.
