Hi there!
I have a Pentium II - 200MHz with 64MB RAM serving my 2
PCs LAN with a Speed Touch USB ADSL Modem and a HUB.
When one of my LAN PCs tryes to make many connections,
example: BitTorrents or 10 Mozilla windows open ate the
same time, the connection to the NET is lost...
The following error is outputed to the servers Logs:
pppoe[3344]: send (sendPacket): No buffer space available
I've searched GOOGLE for this error and I found this Forum
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/mldonkey-bugs/2002-04/msg00025.html
where someone says this:
In short: This means: Your Machine and IP-Stack are
overloaded!
I had the same problem with Linux on my 32 MB machine. With
32 MB my Maschine was swapping a lot and in hi load
sitiations I got this message. After upgrading my
memory to 64 MB the problem is gone.
Any sugestions to fix this problem?!?
Thanks in advance!!!
