#29 no patch as in new kernel?

what has happened to pppoatm.so now that the pppoatm
patch is part of the kernel ppp over atm?

I am getting the error:

/usr/sbin/pppd: /usr/lib/pppd/plugins/pppoatm.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
/usr/sbin/pppd: Couldn't load
plugin /usr/lib/pppd/plugins/pppoatm.so

and cannot imagine what to do.

redhat 7.2 with a new kernel 2.4.9-21
