#25 Installation hiccup

When trying to installed the ppp-2.4.0.rpm I recive a
missing dep /etc/pam.d/ppp error.
I am using suse 7.2. Pam is installed. I have tried
copying and renaming one of the other files in pam.d
(as suse support told me they should all by the
same). That didnt work nor did copying the
system-auth file from a red hat 7.1 box.
What am I missing?

on suse 7.1 i had to install pam-devel-rpm, and then it
worked for me
