Currently a structure named GfOs is used to hold pointers to functions that
provide os-independence. However the os-dependent sources are already compiled
The following patch kills the GfOs abstraction and all of the initialization
burden that it requires. This is done by simply renaming the os-dependent
signatures. All functionalities are as before.
As a bonus a few files whose only reason to be was to hold SomethingInit()
declarations are now gone too.
