The two attached files (cmake_sdl2.patch and support_sdl2_patch2.patch) allow SD2-svn to be built against SDL2.0 (or SDL1.2), but this does not produce a graphical output when run. Regarding multithreading... yes this needs to be fixed (along with a number of other things) but I'm not suggesting that we officially build against SDL2. Note: ForceFeedback only works with SimV4, just caught myself out with this. The Keys are considerably 'wrong' for me: F1-F12 only work on the first press, further presses ignored. F3 then acts as zoom out, F5 as zoom in. 1-0 work as expected, but shift function doesn't work. ie. Hi all, I created a patch to fix multi-threading. I am trying to test on Linux. I can't seem to get CMake to find/set up SDL2 correctly. (this is a debian-based distro) I used apt-get purge to remove all the SDL1.x packages. I dowloaded SDL2 tarball, built and installed it. Speed-dreams CMake does not find SDL (running ccmake) it is in usr/local/.... I manually set the SDL libs and include (in ccmake) Then building speed-dreams has many errors about SDL_xxx not defined. How did you all install/setup SDL2?? TIA, Joe |

Hi Joe, on windows I downloaded the official mingw SDL2-pack. I installed Linux on the official rpm because now it is official on Mageia developement, I also backport on Mageia 3 It find SDL2. For fixed multithread, you have corrected the SD's multithreaded? Because I realized yesterday that it is multithreaded which OsgGraph planted on some tracks on windows.
