Problem running under windows 2000

  • Nobody/Anonymous

I get the following message when I try to run "SpecTCL" either from the
start menu, or from within the tk/wish shell

    error:SpecTcl start-up error:
    couldn't open
    no such file or directory.

Looks unix stuff to me... what do you need to do to install it/run it
    under windows 2000?

Under Unix, .SpecCommonrc is a file in your home directory which is automatically generated first time you start up SpecTcl.

You could try to create the file manually consisting of the following two lines:

      set specCommon(lang) tcl
      set specCommon(dontAskLang) 1

I don't have Windows 2000 myself, so I don't think I can do much more. Please post the solution when you find it.
