-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Daniel, usable are all versions :) We are always taking care that we do not checkin unusable code. If you need to have all the features the "old" perl version had, i would recommend you to use this one. If all of the functionality is given with the "trunk" one, i would recommend you use this one :) We did not yet include all of the functionality, but the python one is more slim and more faster then the perl version. As spd has been to sleep for a time we are going to put more time and effort in it so we have a fast usable version in the nearer future. Thanks for your patience and stay tuned, Sebastian - -- A: Yes. >Q: Are you sure? >>A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>>Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkwPQqIACgkQkQaLtd4VEI24+gCfZL4PPaFjiaO1Wvz+sepAL+3a CYoAoI7Yh4a28yD7UMABSRa/lQV8C+Oc =VXu3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

I need to set http://spd.sf.net up for my new org, for sharing passwords and other sensitive data between myself, employees and contractors - which version would you recommend using a this point, the old Perl one that there are actual releases of, or current Python version trunk, or something else? We (the SPD-Team), decided to switch to Python for the rewrite of SPD in 0.3. The first tests results are: * faster * easier to port on Windows * faster to develop We are looking forward to a great future! Stay tuned for more exciting News! - Klaus -- The only winning move, is not to play. |
