I do not know any application that behaves that way. Every app uses
different executables (like vim vs. gvim). I find this very confusing.
Plus spd-cli and spd-gui will be completely different applications,
they just work with the same data.

I don't like this solution. If you really want to have one command, then
use a symlink that points to the frontend you like.
