but if they hate parameters, how do they use the cli using SSH ?
I think its a good idea to have this in the main configuration. You can 
choose on first start if you want to use the CLI or the GUI and thats 
written into the configuration file. Once you want to change it you can 
change it permanently or maybe temporary with something like 
--temporary-use=cli (just came up my mind).
