Now that we have 2 reports of wi-fi connectivity not working I guess we should look into this matter. I've got a TP-Link and a Broadcom wi-fi hardware available (maybe others also), so I'll start testing this issue.
Analysis still pending. I'll verify on Sparky 3.1, so I'm leaving it on milestone 3.1.
