#2 Speed/Control erratic

Machine:
PII 333 Mhz
GeForce 2 GTS w/ NVidia drivers
No joystick

The problem is that the game speed is WAY to fast. As
soon as the car starts forward I'm instantly at the
next turn, stuck into the side of the track. I CAN
turn, but then I'm instantly stuck on the side of the
next turn.

This looks like a really great game, I hope this can be
resolved. Please let me know if you need more info or
testing.
