I'm not reporting it as a bug, because I haven't been able to reproduce it. I had 2 instances of Spacefm open at the time, at least 1, I think both, as an ordinary user. I was testing a script that was supposed to be (and was, actually) creating files in one of the tabs of one of the Spacefm windows. When I fiinally caught on that the files were in fact being created, but that Spacefm just wasn't noticing, I tried:
Going up a directory, and back down
Shutting the window down and opening a new window. I forget whether I forwent the " -n" or navigated back to the directory in question, but it still wasn't showing the new files.
So what DID work, was shutting down BOTH windows and opening a new one.
So I'm wondering what could cause that. This is 1.0.5 from the Ubuntu 16.04 (latest LTS version), amd64 version repo, running in plain Openbox under X, with no desktop per se, built from the mini.iso up, like a leaner Lubuntu.
If it happens again, would it be useful for me to collect any information about the circumstances? Anything in particular?
