According to FHS (http://www.pathname.com/fhs/2.2/fhs-4.11.html) /usr/share is reserved for architecture independent data files.
Recently I noticed that, using the CVS version, some binaries are installed in /usr/share/SPTK.
All .sh scripts are also installed there. This seems not good, as well. Why have they been moved there?
If you really want to put binaries and scripts in /usr/share/SPTK, you should at least provide an option in configure to install them in another directory, whitout requiring users to patch autotools files.
Bests,
Giulio.
