Sourcer-0.5 has been released! A lot of bugfixes and cleanups, updated for lfs-cvs, nicer command display, documentation updated, more division of information, use of auto* tools. In short, it is a must, I hope you enjoy it as I do. -- Felipe Contreras |

Hi, It seems there is people subscribed to the list, so I'm sending this message. First, I'll like to know about any kind of coment about sourcer, bugs, problems, wishes, reports of success, anything. I'm asking that because I really don't know how good is it for other poeple, for me it's great, tought. Ok, now I want to anounce something. Altought I've been very busy with school I've alredy made some changes, now sourcer has a "configure" script to easy the installation process, and also I've changed a little bit the way sourcer finds the setup instructions of each packages, this seems to be the right thing to do. I don't want to enter into details, so if anyone is interested I can explain a little more. The next big step is to work on dependencies, so all other packages that a package need get installed before. This will add an advantage, packages can be installed in parallel, and once I can get this done I think sourcer-0.5.0 will come out. That's all for now, I hope I can get a little bit of time, finish this changes and test them. Cheers. -- Felipe Contreras |
