The only directory SJ should have to write to is the sourcejammer/server directory. I really don't think there's anywhere else it needs access to. It's possible that there might be something somewhere that tries to write to the WEB-INF/conf directory, but I don't think I'm doing that anymore. You might want to make double sure that the server directory SJ is using is the one you think it is. Take a look at the serverconf.xml file in WEB-INF/conf. You should see an entry for <ServerDirectory> and also maybe <DefaultArchiveRoot> and maybe even <FileSysDirectory>. These will be the directories that SJ needs write access to. --Rob --- "B.
