Hi, Kevin. Glad you like SJ so far. And yes, you are correct about the permissions issue. This is just an essential feature of any server based program. Your typical CGI/perl programs are the same way--except that the user that started the web server is the one whose permissions are used. This is true no matter where the write directories are located. A good idea is to make a tomcat or sourcejammer user and give just that user permissions to write to SJ's archive and filesys dirs.
