Hi, Jennifer.

Again, I think I need more information about the exact steps you have 
followed. But regardless, here is a list of the steps you need to follow to 
get SJ working.

1. Install server and set up server scripts ( you've obviously done this)
2. Run the deploy script.
3. install the client
4. Execute sj_gui
5. Create a new archive. Here's how:
    a. Cancel the "Archives" dialog
    b. Select Tools | Make New Archive
    c. Archive Name: A name for the archive. (you must remember it)
    d. Server URL: Url to your sourcejammer server. Like 
<myurl>/sourcejammer/servlet/rpcrouter.
    e. User name: admin (unless you have created another user)
    f. Password: admin (unless you have changed the admin password.
    g. Click OK.
6. Add your new archive to your client's list of archive definitions. Here's 
how;
    a. Select Connection | Connect.
    b. Click the New button.
    c. A name . . . : Any name you want. For display on your client only.
    d. URL: Same URL as when you created the archive
    e. Archive Name: Archive Name you used when creating the archive.
    f. click OK.
    g. Now you should see the name of the new archive definition in the 
dialog.
    h. select the archive definition you just created and click Connect.

Have you followed all these steps? If you have and you are still having 
trouble, you could check the terminal.log file for your SourceJammer server. 
It may show a more detailed error message.
