I think that's a good suggestion as well. On reason I chose the color red for the checkbox in my
icons is that red is a very "visible" color. It really stands out. Not that I think that the check
has to be red, but making it stand out somehow would be helpful. One other way to do this would be
to put a colored border around the icon as well.
