#205 One step check-out / edit

In the check out dialogue, give the user the option to
select an application with which to open the checked
out file. Much more convenient than having to dig
through local files and then open the checked out file...

This would be great. And this is at least the 2nd request
for something like this. I'll see what I can do, though this
is unlikely to happen for 2.1.
