Well, you actually should, as CTAGS supports it!
Regarding 'VB.NET':
You're right, it should be a must, but CTAGS doesn't support it!
So you would have to make a request at CTAGS's place, not here.
I'm not a CTAGS developer, but I guess it won't be easy to support both
VB6 and VB.NET, as they both use the same extension '.vb'...
