It lunched fine, and can use user defined language.
But it does not show any results in the view for any language (tried cpp, js, etc)
I have tried different version from 5.4.x to 5.6.8, but got the same problem.
Any helps? e.g. do i need to install anything else to support it?

Sry, that's not enough info for me to start guessing why it's not working for you.
If you wouldn't have all required runtimes installed, then you would at least see error messages.
So you don't have to install anything else.
Check out the language settings dialog, if it shows any rules at all.
Also enable "Use 'ctags' files instead of StandardOut" in the options dialog… is the 'ctags' file always empty then?

the version 0.4 works fine.
I've got .NET 1.1 2.0sp2, 3.0sp2, 3.5ps1 on my windows xp
with version 0.5.2, the 'tags' file under C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\SourceCookifier\ shows the result i wanted. it seems the issue is the tree viewer.
with 0.5.2, when i enable to show the invalid file, the file name shows up in the tree viewer, the hint read as "Index was outside the bounds of the array."
hope it helps. it is really a good, and one of the most useful plugins on np++ for a programer

Could you once delete the "SourceCookifier.languages.xml"?
Cuz it doesn't get overwritten while updating…
