    Hi Robert!
    I am confused how to convert the image of tif to standard ISO format?
    In fact,when I use the method setIsoTemplate(c),the parameter c is a byte[][] I get from a tif file,for example:
    byte[][]c=new byte[1][];
    InputStream input1=new FileInputStream(file1);
    c[0]=new byte[input1.available()];
    input1.read(c[0]);

    while I run the application,it throws RuntimeException: This is not an ISO template.

    I am sorry for my bad English and waiting for your reply.

    Hello YungLung,

    TIF image is not an ISO template. There's currently no way to import image into java version of SourceAFIS. You will need 3rd party template extractor or just use the .NET version that is fully functional.

    Kind Regards,
    Robert

    Hello YungLung,

    I don't quite understand your question. Are you asking how to scan your fingerprints? Sensor vendor will provide you with SDK that lets you acquire fingerprints from the sensor in the form of images. This is completely out of scope of SourceAFIS. Look around your hardware vendor's website.

    Kind Regards,
    Robert
