Hi,

As per my knowledge source AFIS doesn't support export/import template in MINEX or ANSI/INCITS 378 format. Is it correct? If it's correct, please let me know if you have plan to incorporate it in some next version of source AFIS.

Hi Tanimul,

I do not plan to implement the standard in foreseeable future since it costs me money to obtain description of the format. ISO/IEC 19794-2 can be used instead for data exchange with other biometric systems.

If you need ANSI/INCITS in your application, I can add support for the format as part of a paid custom development project. If you are interested, contact me via email at NOSPAM@gmail.com where NOSPAM should be replaced with "robert.vazan".

ANSI 378 is now supported by the latest SourceAFIS, although use of this format is still discouraged in favor of fingerprint images.
