From: Marcio Merlone <mme...@gm...> > Date: 2008/9/25 > Subject: Impressões > To: soo...@li... > > > -- > Marcio Merlone > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's > challenge > Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great > prizes > Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world > http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ > _______________________________________________ > Soomp-devel mailing list > Soo...@li...

On Tue, Sep 30, 2008 at 1:13 PM, Rafael Felix <fel...@gm...> wrote: > > Desculpem a mensagem, mas se alguem a ver poderia repsondela -- Marcio Merlone |

Marcio, Do you think that there can be (now, or in the future) worldwide collaborators for Soomp? Another question is: isn't it a little confusing to have the same list with emails both in english and portuguese? Would be possible to create a soomp-devel-pt and soomp-devel-en? Or am I daydreaming ? :P I do agree, however, that inline code and announcements should be in english only . PS: Still didn't have time to write my "how to install and start using soomp". But for a matter of exercising I'll write it in english. So, I still have no much time to deal with the project organization. But I would like to propose a question for you developers candidates. One of the goals for this project is to reach a world-wide utilization. For such, the official language for the project should be English, with code comments, page and everything else in English. But this would force all (or most of) of the developers to be able to at least write some sort of english to document code and participate on mail lists. So, the question is: what will be the official language for the project and its parts (with my opinion): - soomp-devel mail list (pt_BR only) - soom-user mail list (both pt_BR and en_US) - soom-announce mail list (en_US only) - Project web site and documentation (both pt_BR and en_US) - Inline code documentation (en_US only) How do you feel about that and what's you opinion? Best regards, -- Marcio Merlone |
