Hi

I'd like to have a new term created. The term is 'intein coding sequence' based on this reference:

http://nar.oxfordjournals.org/content/22/7/1125.long

The term description could be "the nucleotide sequence which encodes the intein portion of the precursor gene." It could be created as part of an ORF.

Thank you,
Janos

    Hi Janos
We already have intein as a feature - a kind of cleaved peptide
    Does this work?
    --K

The term you have, 'intein' is a peptide feature. I'd like to have a term for the DNA encoding it.

    Thanks,
    Janos
