Dear All Could you please add this term. Weare using this in sets of promoters for synthetic biology projects. We would appreciate being able to use SO to acccurately annotate these kinds of promoters, rather than lumping everything inder bacterial rna polymerase promoters or incorrectly under sigma based promoters.
Definition: bacterial promoter with sigma ecf factor binding dependency. This is a type of bacterial promoters that requires a sigma ECF factor to bind to identififed -10 and -35 sequence regions in order to mediate binding of the RNA polymerase to the promoter region as part of transcription initiation.
