[Somelib] SOMEUnknown*

I am considering removing these classes as they don't appear to provide
any real benefit to the user.  Scratch that, they don't provide any
benefit.  So, any objections to their removal?  Also, should
SOMEPluginObj be renamed to SOMEObj?
