There are applications like soma2 that require the javax.servlet to be installed and included in the ide/compiler's classpaths.
Currently it is not included in the jre or sdk of java 1.5, also anyone running netbeans will find it a major pain to figure out how to install/configure and use.
As such an installation guide for the javax.servlet would be very helpful and probably save alot of time fielding support querys from fustrated users.
